  • Tiffany Wilmot, President

    Tiffany has been president of Wilmot Inc. for 25 years. Using her background in business and environmental stewardship, she has been one of the greatest drivers of Nashville’s sustainability advancements. Since 1994, she has helped organizations including GM, the US Army, Metro Nashville, Coors Co., and NES enhance bottom-line growth while developing world-class systems that improve resource use efficiency. She has
    been selected by two administrations to work with the Mayor’s Sustainability and Livability Committees, and she co-founded TN Women in Green (TWIG).

  • Dave Adams, Chief Operations Officer

    After spending two years in the Peace Corps, David realized he could continue serving in whatever career he chose. Fortunately, he chose to continue his career as an engineer. He understands that the best solutions to a problem take into account not only financial and physical limitations, but also social concerns and community goals. account not only financial and physical limitations, but also social concerns and community goals.

  • Annie Slaughter, Project Coordinator

    After graduating from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Environmental Science, Annie started her professional career in sustainable food systems work. Through her education and professional work, she deepened her understanding of the connection between human and environmental health. At Wilmot, Annie specializes in green building and sustainable materials management. Annie currently serves as a Young Professional Co-Chair for the Tennessee Volunteer Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).

  • Nate Martinez, Sustainability Consultant

    Nate graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. Attending college in a city opened his eyes to the social consequences of irresponsible environmental design. After volunteering with a Baltimore nonprofit to help feed food-insecure families, he decided to pursue community-focused work that helps build a cleaner and more equitable future. At Wilmot, Nate specializes in solar planning and design, Triple Bottom Line analysis, and green building.

  • Natalie Connor, Project Coordinator

    Natalie is a graduate from the University of Vermont's Rubenstein School of the Environment and Natural Resources where she studied Environmental Studies and Marine Science. As a former Alaskan wilderness guide, Natalie feels a fundamental obligation to give back to the natural environment which shaped her. Her deep understanding of humanity’s place in the global ecosystem translates to her work with Wilmot where she specializes in green building, greenhouse gas inventories, and coordinates the team across multiple projects.

  • Chris Williams, Construction Manager

    Chris’ attention to detail elevates every job he does as a project manager and field technician for Nashville’s sidewalk/bikeway audits and trunk walking for the Clean Water Nashville Project. Chris grew up in Florida and attended Florida State University, where he found a special interest in ecology and biodiversity. Chris is particularly dedicated to the protection and preservation of our natural resources. His passion for the natural world and his experience in public service help Chris thrive as project manager and inspector of sewer infrastructure and sidewalk construction at Wilmot.

  • Ellie Allain, Sustainability Analyst

    Ellie is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she studied Climate Science, Environmental and Sustainability Studies, and Science Communications. Through her research and field work, Ellie witnessed firsthand the delicate balance between human activities and the natural world. At Wilmot, her dedication to better management strategies mitigates negative environmental impacts for our clients, ensuring a healthier planet for future generations. Ellie specializes in green building, GHG inventories, Triple Bottom Line analysis, and manages Wilmot’s social media.

  • Karen Grubbs, Senior Advisor

    After 33 years of experience at the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Karen continues to promote sustainable practices in both the local and global community. She specializes in erosion protection and sediment control and holds Wilmot together with extraordinary administrative skills. As an active member of a number of community organizations, Karen has promoted sustainability as far away as Wuxi, China with the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center, and as locally as Nashville, as a leader in TWIG-Tennessee Women in Green.

  • Mitchel Hochman, Project Manager

    After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Biochemistry, Mitchell interned with Florida's largest power company in the field of environmental engineering. He worked on environmental assessments, power, and hydrology projects. Wilmot is lucky to have Mitchel as project manager of our sidewalks and bikeways program, where he logs needed repairs and conducts audits, helping pedestrians by creating new ways for them to get around their city. Mitchel’s positive demeanor is infectious— his goal is to spread kindness, and he’s always eager to take on new challenges. 

  • Thomas Rowland, Sustainability Analyst

    Thomas graduated from Wofford College with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Spanish. During his college studies and time abroad in various Spanish speaking countries, Thomas developed a passion for sustainability and the resulting benefits of sustainable practices on the individual, community, and global scale. Originally from the low country of South Carolina, Thomas moved to Nashville with a desire to support sustainability measures on a larger scale, leading him to Wilmot. He specializes in green building and sidewalk and bikeway surveys.

  • Ashley Hendry, Research Assistant

    Ashley is a Nashville native and graduate of the University of Tennessee - Knoxville with a BA in Theater (Acting). She assists Wilmot in marketing, social media, and business development. Her networking abilities are aided by the broad circuit of connections she has built in Nashville and across the country over the years, and she fits right in at Wilmot with her appreciation for research and love for the outdoors (you'll find her by the beach). When she's not at work, she's usually spending time with her husband and son, camping and hiking.

    Bea Wilmot is our resident sustainability expert. She has a keen nose for eco-friendly treats and a passion for digging through waste audits. Whether she's chasing squirrels or napping in the sun, Bea is dedicated to preserving our natural environment and making the world a better place — one tail wag at a time!
